EN 20471 (CLASE 2)
EN ISO 20471 Class 2 is a European standard specifying the requirements for high-visibility warning clothing providing a medium level of visibility. Its purpose is to improve wearer safety by enhancing visibility in daylight and in low-light conditions when illuminated by vehicle headlights. Garments certified according to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 contain a specified minimum amount of fluorescent material and reflective tape, ensuring effective visibility in workplaces where increased safety is required. Class 2 garments are intended for workers operating near road traffic, on construction sites, in warehouses, logistics centres, and other environments where good visibility is essential. Compared to Class 1, Class 2 provides a higher level of visibility, while Class 3 offers the highest level of protection defined by the standard.
